This piece was composed in real time during a concert that took place on May 27, 2005 at the Centre d'animation Jemmapes which is a cultural place of the Paris City Hall. [.…] The event was based on the idea of a vernacular device. About thirty microphones were deployed around the concert hall with the intention to capture the various activities of the place. The sounds were mixed and treated in real time with the exception of a few sound fields from Normandy (by Emmanuel Mieville) and various sound objects triggered and mixed from the laptop (also by Mievielle).
